Born of heroes

I’m Brandon, founder of LIGAS. The name belongs to my family, from Maruszyna in Poland’s Podhale region. In 1943 my great-grandparents Franciszek and Aniela Ligas hid a Jewish man from the Nazis. In occupied Poland, that was punishable by death. They did it anyway. They were caught, and Franciszek was killed for it in Kraków. Aniela survived the war. I’ve always been inspired by this story. Their daughter is my grandmother, who I have always been close to. I want every piece to be worthy of the family name. LIGAS loves Poland and is committed to Polish craftsmanship — everything we make is Made in Poland, and always will be.
